Krisala and Hiranandani Communities bring a golf township to Nagpur

Published

Krisala Developers has announced its entry into Nagpur with a golf lifestyle township, developed in partnership with Hiranandani Communities. The announcement was made on 27 October 2026 from Mumbai, and the project is positioned as a planned golf-led community covering plots, townhouses and villas in Maharashtra's second-largest city.

The township, titled Hiranandani Nagpur Golf Township, is being developed under Eleva by Hiranandani Communities, the group's development management platform. The partnership is being expanded alongside a project pipeline of Rs 20,000 crore across Pune and Nagpur, and the Nagpur project is being financed through internal cash generation. Project status is currently upcoming. Read the full project details here.

Key details of the Nagpur golf township

The township is planned around an integrated golf course, which is envisioned as one of the largest in Nagpur and as the defining feature of the community. Coverage of the project describes a land parcel of about 100 acres, with the developers also highlighting expansive green landscapes and a neo-classical design theme across the site.

The project is being marketed as Nagpur's first luxury golf course township and is expected to offer 51 ultra-luxury plots, which are attracting interest from high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth buyers. Townhouses and villas will complement the plotted offering. Estimated revenue potential for the township is approximately Rs 2,100 crore.

  • Product mix: 51 ultra-luxury plots, townhouses and villas
  • Central feature: integrated golf course, planned as one of the largest in Nagpur
  • Design theme: neo-classical architecture with expansive green landscapes
  • Developer model: Eleva by Hiranandani Communities, working with landowners and developers who hold land titles and approvals
  • Announced: 27 October 2026

Buyers considering the project will find that the developers' other Nagpur projects give a sense of the product range. Krisala's 105-acre Hiranandani project at MIHAN offers plots of 1,200 to 2,400 sq ft and villas of 2,200 to 3,500 sq ft, with a grand clubhouse, swimming pool, gym, sports complex, parks, walking tracks and 24/7 security. The separate Hiranandani Plots Nagpur development offers 30x40, 30x50 and 30x60 ft plots, roughly 1,200, 1,500 and 1,800 sq ft. The golf township will be a different offering with its own product mix, so buyers should review its specifications as they are released.

Location and connectivity

Nagpur is well placed on the national transport map, and several infrastructure projects are shaping the city's growth. The Samruddhi Mahamarg expressway ends at Hingna on the Nagpur Outer Ring Road and provides access to Samruddhi Nagar, MIHAN and Nagpur Metro. The expressway links the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust in Mumbai with the Nagpur Multimodal International Hub Airport at MIHAN.

Public transport in the city is expanding. The Orange Line metro began operations in March 2019, and Khapri metro station, located at MIHAN, sits on this line. Nagpur Metro Phase 2 will add 43.8 km of new lines across four corridors at a total cost of Rs 6,706 crore, with a target completion of 2028 and civil work already under way on three of the four reaches. Phase 2 is also expected to improve connectivity to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport.

Industrial and logistics activity is a major driver of demand in the area. The MIHAN project, with a projected investment of Rs 11,000 crore, is envisioned as India's largest logistics and cargo hub. Butibori and Hingna industrial areas are among the employment centres that sit within the city's wider economic corridor.

Several road projects are also in the pipeline. NHAI is executing a 119-km highway corridor linking NH-44, NH-53 and NH-347 on a hybrid annuity model, with completion planned in phases by 2026. The six-lane Nagpur-Bhandara-Gondia Expressway and a Rs 4,000 crore expansion of the Outer Ring Road are also planned, while a 480-km Nagpur-Indore Expressway is at the feasibility stage. Overall, infrastructure projects worth more than Rs 45,000 crore are underway in the city to improve connectivity, urban mobility and economic growth.
