Yotta Data Services Targets Q4 FY27 IPO, Plans to File Draft Papers by October 2026 to Raise Up to $1.5 Billion

Yotta Data Services Targets Q4 FY27 IPO, Plans October 2026 Filing

Yotta Data Services plans to launch an IPO in the January-March quarter of 2027, with draft papers targeted for October 2026, to capitalise on booming demand for AI computing infrastructure.

Fundraising Scope and Use of Proceeds

The Hiranandani Group-backed firm aims to raise up to $1.5 billion to repay debt, buy graphics processing units, and expand sovereign cloud infrastructure that keeps data within national borders. The company is also looking to raise capital through a pre-IPO funding round from private equity firms, with about five PE firms expected to be part of the funding round.

Earlier this year, the firm raised about $150 million from high-net-worth individuals and family offices.

Valuation and Ownership Structure

Through all the funding and the IPO, the company would not dilute more than 25 per cent of its stake and is likely to be valued at about $6 billion.

GPU Procurement and Infrastructure Expansion

Yotta is not only building brick-and-mortar data centres but is also involved in the procurement of graphics processing units, mostly from Nvidia, which are used for AI computing. The company operates India's largest cluster of Nvidia chips and expects to reach 400 megawatts of capacity within 12 to 18 months.

Context: Yotta's Role in Hiranandani Group

Yotta Data Services is a privately held data center and digital infrastructure provider headquartered in Mumbai, founded in 2019, and represents Hiranandani Group's diversification into high-growth digital infrastructure and cloud computing. Darshan Hiranandani is the Chairman and Co-founder of Yotta Data Services and serves as CEO of the Hiranandani Group, a leading real estate and infrastructure development company.

A key milestone in Yotta's development is the launch of its Yotta NM1 hyperscale data center campus in Navi Mumbai, positioned as one of the largest data center developments in India. The facility is located within the Hiranandani Group's Hiranandani Fortune City master-planned community in Panvel.

Sovereign Cloud Strategy

The move comes as demand for AI computing infrastructure surges and global tech giants, including Google and Amazon, expand their presence in India. Yotta is backed by IndiaAI empanelment, government CSP deployments, and regulatory certifications, positioning the company as the preferred in-country infrastructure layer for regulated and sovereign workloads.

IPO Timeline

Yotta is targeting filing its draft initial public offering papers as early as October and launching the issue by the fourth quarter of this financial year. Kotak Mahindra Capital, ICICI Securities, and SBI Capital Markets have been appointed as book-running lead managers.
